About Me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC 52750) in private practice.  I graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development, and later earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Pepperdine University.

I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) and other body image issues, and had the pleasure of working at the Los Angeles Body Dysmorphic Disorder Clinic for 8 years, where I provided individual psychotherapy and facilitated a BDD support group.  I also treat individuals, couples, and families for a range of emotional issues including depression, anxiety, and relationship issues.

My clinical training includes internships at Airport Marina Counseling Service in Westchester, The Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills, and the UCLA Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program.

My prior experience includes psychiatric intake at Stanford Medical Center, and working with adolescents on the inpatient eating disorder unit at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital.

I am also a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).
